WLCI College Reviews Air Asia Losses



Air Asia reports are in and they are at a huge loss in their first month !


The low cost carrier entered the Indian Market with a promotional fare of Rs. 5. Since then this joint venture had been operating 8 flights between Bangalore to Goa and Chennai to Kochi. The quarter ending in June revealed a loss of about Rs. 26 Crore. The CEO is hoping to pick up the slack by the end of calendar year.

With 80% occupancy in June and 69.8% in July, WLCI College hopes that they recover their losses !

In the Independence Day speech, PM Modi stressed on manufacturing in India and also spoke of the built-up product to have zero defect so that they do not get rejected in the global market. He also added that manufacturing should not have any negative impact on the environment.


PM Modi reached out to investors, eyeing to make India a manufacturing hub. WLCI Business School applauds PM's address as this would give the manufacturing sector a shot in the arm.

This is not all. A good manager must be in sync with the latest happenings in the financial industry that experiences ever-changing regulations. A good way to go about it would be by attending conferences and seminars to be in the know of current financial management matters.

Additionally, a good finance manager must be able to manage time effectively, keep cool under pressure and go about things with honesty and transparency.
