Infosys needs a new CEO

India's second largest IT services exporter Infosys Ltd (INFY.NS) is under pressure to bring in a new chief executive soon, to check an exodus of junior staff and reassure investors after a slew of departures at the top.

Shares in Infosys, the most widely held Indian stock, fell to their lowest level in nine months on Thursday. This took effect the day after they announced that the president and board member, B.G. Srinivas had resigned.

The departure of Srinivas, the 10th senior executive to exit in the last year, widens a leadership vacuum at Infosys as it searches for a new chief executive.

WLCI Business School hopes that Infosys names their new CEO soon.

Review by WLCI – FlipKart buys Myntra

FlipKart buys out Myntra for who is estimated to be around $330 million and sending a not-so-subtle message—to rival Amazon. Despite loud protestations, it is quite clear that the investors, three of whom own shares in both companies, played a big role in seeing this deal through. Bringing together India's largest online retailer and the country's hippest fashion portal makes financial sense for the investors, and also strategic sense.  This opened a flood gate for both the companies and now they would be have reach to an even larger market share.

WLCI Business School Reviews - AAM

wlc feedbackBelieve it or not there is nothing "Aam" about the Indian Mango! It is a 6.3 million pound industry, yes that is the figure  that United Kingdom imports every year from India. Added to this figure can be the imports done by the European Union. But this year the King of Fruits-Alphonso Mango made glum business in EU countries with the blanket ban on Indian Alphonso, stating that last year it had fruit flies in them which could harm europaean crops. The entire Indian business community along with Keith Vaz (british-MP) has been vocal about their protests in UK and has been rallying for the upliftment of this unfair ban. Let's hope the ban is lifted soon till the "Aam-season" lasts and the UK community gets a sweet taste of our Alphonso delight!
