Air Asia reports are in and they
are at a huge loss in their first month !
The low cost carrier entered the
Indian Market with a promotional fare of Rs. 5. Since then this joint venture
had been operating 8 flights between Bangalore to Goa and Chennai to Kochi. The
quarter ending in June revealed a loss of about Rs. 26 Crore. The CEO is hoping
to pick up the slack by the end of calendar year.
With 80% occupancy in June and
69.8% in July, WLCI College hopes that they recover their losses !
